| ASTRO : HOW TO GET AND USE THE REGISTRATION KEY? |
| Step 3: Run the ASTRO version. |
Go to the menu About.
Click as indicated in the picture below.

| Step 4: Click on Register Button |
ASTRO Registration Window will pop up. |
| Step 5: Generation of the USER DATA and Sending |
User Data with Characters and numbers will be automatically generated. This USER DATA you need to send us to get the Registration Code.
MOST IMPORTANT STEP NOW
Click on the user data box any where
Press Home key : Cursor will automatically go to the beginning of the user data generated.
While Pressing Shift Key, Press the End key. The User Data will be highlighted.
Now Press Ctrl + C to copy the data on the Clipboard.
Open a txt file or word document and paste the user data by pressing Ctrl + V
CHECK FOR THE LENGTH OF THE USER DATA. It will not be too short.
Compare with the User Data in the Astro Registration Window. If both are same, then send to us.
REPEAT ABOVE PROCEDURE TILL YOU DO IT CORRECTLY. EVERY TIME YOU DO THIS , NEW USER DATA WILL BE GENERATED. (THIS IS NORMAL). YOU CAN SEND ANY ONE OF THE ABOVE GENERATED USER DATA.
Send us the name in which you would like to register. It should be minimum 8 characters long. It can be a mix of Capital of small letters and numbers.
This name will appear when you press the registration key again on the About screen. |

| Now you can buy ASTRO 3.3 through online transfer (State Bank of India) or Send a Demand Draft |

You will get the REGISTRATION KEY FROM US. It will be in the following form.

You need to paste the complete Key including the ==REGISTRATION KEY==
And ====== DO NOT ALTER KEY ====== everything as it is as shown below.
PASTE THE KEY IN Registration Code box as shown above.
Type the name you have given in the Name box above. (Type any 8 digit name if you forget what you sent to us without special characters). The Registration process will automatically register in the name which you have sent to us while getting the Registration Key. DO NOT BOTHER ABOUT THE USER DATA AND DON’T COMAPARE WITH WHAT YOU SENT TO US. THIS USER DATA MAY BE DIFFERENT AGAIN. JUST PASTE THE REGISTRATION KEY AS SHOWN
PRESS THE REGISTER BUTTON.

| Step 8: Registration Successful |
This step is the last step for Registration and You will able to see the above if everything is done correctly as mentioned.
If this screen is not shown, then repeat the whole procedure. If the problem persist, contact Astro Support Team. If the screen is shown as in the above figure, do press YES for starting the registered version. |
| Step 9: Registration Successful |
The registered ASTRO version will work now.
Pl. go to About Menu once again.
Press on the Registered Button now. ( Earlier in Demo version, the name of this button is Register , see that now it is show as Registered.) PRESSING THE REGISTERED BUTTON WILL SHOW YOUR REGISTERED NAME.

| Step 10: Sending Initial File |
Go to Installation directory. If you have not changed the path, then C:\Program Files\Astro or C:\Program Files\Astro2 will be the directory. Locate initial named text file , copy and send it by email to Astro@astrouser.com. This file contains installation information on Astro on your computer. In case of system crash, formatting of hard disk, you need to install Astro again. At that time this initial file will authenticate that you are using the same computer and we will provide another key of Astro without extra charge.
